XGEVA® is a prescription medicine used to prevent fracture, spinal cord compression, or the need for radiation or surgery to bone in patients with multiple myeloma and in patients with bone metastases from solid tumors.

How XGEVA® Works

XGEVA® slows bone breakdown1

Usually, the body is constantly breaking down and rebuilding bone. This helps keep bones strong.2,3

In people with bone metastases from breast, prostate, lung cancer, other solid tumors or with multiple myeloma:

The breakdown and rebuilding of your bones can become unbalanced3. Over time, this can cause weak spots in the bones and can lead to serious bone problems.2-4,*

XGEVA® works by stopping cells that are breaking down bone from becoming overactive. That means that bone breakdown can be slowed down by XGEVA®.1,2,5-7

If cancer has weakened your bones,3,4,8
